Lady Mules Soccer Advancing to FINALS!

Attention soccer fans!! Wilson girls won their semifinal game against Central City Value yesterday by a score of 2-0!! Senior Chelsea Contreras scored the first goal on a beautiful free kick, and Sophomore Anahi Garcia scored the second goal from 25 yards away!!! Goalkeepers Crystal Gonzalez and Deanna Mendoza both got clean sheets with the shut out. The team will play either Friday or Saturday in the final. Please stay tuned for more info and congratualtions to the whole squad for playing with heart and for making history!!!

WHS 80th Anniversary Celebration

Come celebrate with the greater Wilson High School community at the 80th Anniversary of our establishment. The event will begin at El Sereno Middle School at 10:00 - 11:30 AM (WHS original location) and then continue our WHS campus from 11:00 - 1:00 PM.

Attention soccer fans!! Wilson girls soccer clobbered Valor Academy yesterday by a score of 5-1! Sophomore Anahi Garcia scored a goal. Senior Chelsea Contreras, who was playing on an injury, scored a goal. And Sophomore Maleah Haro scored another hat trick!! Congratulate the team as they advance to the semi final game which will happen next Tuesday at 3pm here at Wilson!

Attention Prom Goers!

Hello, 2018 Prom Goer! We are happy to announce our third annual Prom Dresses To Give event on Sunday, March 11, 1pm-4pm- this fulfilled event is catered to SENIORS who attend high school and reside in the City of Los Angeles. For the past 4 months, community members and leaders have come together to donate over 250 gently used formal dresses to prom goers who may not otherwise be able to purchase a new dress. We invite you to attend this event, and let us join you in selecting the perfect dress for your special day! El Sereno Historical Society along with the InnerCity Struggle, Wilson Mules Alumni Association, students, teachers and community members have come together to organize a series of free events commemorating the 1968 Chicano Walkouts which involved Wilson High School, Lincoln High School, Garfield High School, Roosevelt High School, Belmont High School and many more that followed. Through our events, we aim to build awareness and empowerment in our community. All events are free of charge and open to the public. All events will have music, light refreshments and free give-aways.
