Spotlight on New Teacher: Ms. Berger

Our new teacher, Ms. Berger of room F-4, joined the Wilson English faculty this school year. A graduate of Colby College in Maine, Ms. Berger taught in rural Maine and then in an inner city high school Boston. She told The Hitching Post her husband's career brought her to Los Angeles. This has been a difficult transition, as she left her friends and family on the East Coast. She is, however, enjoying the climate and does not miss the humidity of Pennsylvania.

In her free time, Ms. Berger enjoys yoga, hiking, reading, and most of all, relaxing. Her favorite authors are Kurt Vonnegut and Lucille Clifton. She is the mother of a three and five year old. She is looking forward to watching the Class of 2020 grow and flourish, as well as learning about all the programs Wilson has to offer. Let's give Ms. Berger a warm Wilson welcome.
