The Law Magnet

Pathway to a Distinguished Legal Career

Our Story

The Law Magnet is LAUSD’s distinguished career pathway to a legal career.   Law Magnet students are highly motivated college-bound students. This magnet program specially caters to the needs of these high performing students.

This unique magnet program is well-resourced. A yearly $71,000 California Partnership Academy grant ensures students have everything they need for a top-rate education. Classrooms have the latest educational technology, science labs are updated, and there is a brand new computer lab with i7 processors. Also, students will be enriched by yearly field trips to colleges, courtrooms, and law firms.  And, magnet class sizes are capped at 34 students.
