Stephen Sills: Class of 2018 Salutatorian

Our Salutatorian, Stephen Sills, will be attending Stanford in the fall of 2018. This young adult represents the Legendary class of 2018, and is one of the prides and joys of the El Sereno Community. Although he will be attending a highly prestigious school, his journey wasn’t the easiest. Itzel Melgoza: Class of 2018 Valedictorian

Our Valedictorian, Itzel Melgoza, will be attending Columbia in the fall of 2018. This young adult represents the Legendary class of 2018, and is one of the prides and joys of the El Sereno Community. Although she will be attending a highly prestigious school, her journey wasn’t the easiest. I had the wonderful opportunity to interview her, and help tell her story and journey. Itzel says her experience at Wilson was great, although she was very shy and quiet at first. WHS Faculty for the Win!

It was a fun-filled softball game between the WHS Eastside Bomberz and the WHS Sauce Gurrrlz softball team. After a gruelling back-and-forth 7 innings, the WHS faculty pulled off the win with a final score of 14-13.
