Law Magnet Alumni featured in documentary film, “Status Pending”(2020)

In October, Law Magnet juniors and seniors screened “Status Pending” at the NBC Meet The Press Film festival. Law Magnet alumni, Elizabeth Uribe, is now an immigration attorney whose life and work are documented in the film. Elizabeth Uribe and other immigration attorney’s in the film are frequent guests speakers and mentors in the Law Magnet. The film screening was a moving look at immigration law work, made more powerful for our Law Magnet students by the fact our students personally know the lawyers in the film.
